| Bay Area's TV20 offers and Internship Program designed for students interested in gaining exposure and experience to the broadcasting industry. Internships are active throughout the year offered during the Spring, Summer and Fall.
Currently we are offering intern positions in the following areas:
DAILY MIXX: A short form entertainment report that is broadcast daily and covers music, movies, a little celebrity gossip, and much more. Responsibilities include operate telepropter, research daily stories, screen and log source tapes, maintain tape library and database and assist on field shots.
Production: This position will assist our Chief Photographer on remote and studio shoots, run camera and teleprompter for Daily Mixx, make dubs, log tapes and assist editors to digitize footage. Requires basic computer skills, work well with others, and a positive attitude.
Promotions: Assist the Promotion Manager/Department with the day to day operations. Some of the duties include liaison between the promotion and marketing departments, assist producers in videotape logging and researach, production assistant on promotional shoots, distribute press clippings and mail out press releases, maintain/organize prize closet inventory.
Research: Assist the research director with various sales support duties. Some of the responsibilites include assist with creation of daily overnight ratings summary, maintain research materials, produce tracking spreasheets, maintain rate and programming changes
Sales: Learn firshand how a television sales department fuctions by being involved inthe various aspects of this department. Some of the duties include assist with posting schedules, check contracts, assemble media kits, maintain client database, attend sales trainings, assist with promotion events.

| CBS 5 Offers a Great Volunteer Opportunity in the Consumer Unit
Are you interested in consumer affairs, law, and consumer rights? How about media and journalism? If so, CBS 5 ConsumerWatch is looking for you! The award-winning CBS 5 ConsumerWatch Problem Solvers team is seeking interns to join our group.
As a member of the Problem Solvers team, you'll respond to viewers who need help with their challenging consumer dilemmas. In addition to solving problems, you'll also learn about consumer issues and about the news business in general. You'll be working with a dedicated group of media professionals whose goal is to help consumers in need.
Other responsibilities may include researching stories, scheduling interviews, and assisting producers with story ideas and story research.
There may be opportunities to go out on interviews and to participate in the scriptwriting process. Great opportunity to learn about consumer issues and how a news unit operates. BIC-SF Radio Internship
BIC-SF (KOIT, KDFC, KMAX) is pleased to announce the availability of an internship at its radio stations. We are looking for students who are interested in a learning opportunity where they can extend their broadcasting education beyond the classroom.
Postion Requirements

Needs to be registered at a university, college, community college or vocational technical institute on a full time basis. Priority will be givento students of junior/senior status or in the last year of a community college or vocational technical program.
· Prefer someone working towards a degree in broadcast journalism, communications or other broadcast related field.
· Possess basic computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point.
· Must be in good academic standing and arrange to get credit for internship and must not have participated in previous internship.
· Must be organized, able to meet deadline and be a self-starter with proven ability to be accurate and precise.
